These are My Favorite Cereals! 1.) Honey Combs- What can I say that already isnt running through your mind right now?! Honey Combs, WERE the shizz, I bet you're wondering why I put 'were' in all caps? well, truth is, I accidentally hit Caps Lock and I'm too lazy to go back and fix it.....lol, but seriously, I'm not sure when it happened, probably when every other cereal started to lose its patented texture and taste. Honey Combs just are not enjoyable as they once were. I recall being addicted to the strawberry ones as well. They had a nice run though, didn't get soggy too fast, and were still awesome without milk.
2.) Golden Crisp- "Cant get enough of that Golden Criiiisp" [snapping finger and singing the song]. You have to know that song dude! Sugar Bear was the man! As much as my parents purchased it, literally from about pre-school til almost high school graduation, I never got tired of it, then again I've never gotten tired of any cereal (this is a lie, I'll explain later), but Sugar Bear is legendary, I havent had Golden Crisp in awhile actually.
3.) Cap n' Crunch (Original, Crunch Berries, Peanut Butter, Ooops ALL Crunch Berries)- Now some of you may know, I have beef with the Cap n' Crunch man and with the Quaker people about what they've done with the Peanut Butter Cap n' Crunch, I wrote a long very necessary email, and they sent me coupons back (which I still haven't used). Despite how I feel about their downfall (as with most of the best cereals), Cap n' Crunch is and always will be legendary. This is the only cereal I can eat and not mind the roof of my mouth being tortured, because they're so good! I cant pick a favorite out of the ones I named, just know, I've spent many days sitting in front of the TV with a big bowl Cap n' Crunch on my lap watching cartoons and making an epic berry/peanut butter mess!
4.) SNAP, CRACKLE, POP!! Rice Krispies Treats booooooy! [ficky ficky]- We all know what rice krispy treats are, I know y'all remember tasting that marshmallowy cereal goodness for the first time in square form, I know you remember how excited you got when they started selling the bars pre-made in stores and when you first walked down that cereal aisle and saw that teal box with the textured letters that read: Rice Krispies Treats Cereal How quickly you grabbed that box and threw it in your mom's cart, and if she couldnt afford it, you quickly snatched it out of the basket, ran to the milk aisle, found you a bowl, and poured you some right then and there cause you HAD to have it! I was so excited to see they still sell these in store (in a purple box now). I try to purchase 2 boxes whenever I go grocery shopping, they still reign supreme in my heart, especially that nice leftover bowl of marshmallowy milk! YUM!
